How to Export Your N26 Statement as PDF or CSV

To export an N26 statement, open the N26 app or web app, go to your account or the statements and downloads area, choose a date range, then download the monthly PDF or export your transactions as CSV. The PDF is the official document. The CSV is the file you want for analysis. Both take under a minute.
PDF statement vs CSV export: which one do you need?
N26 gives you two different files, and they serve two different jobs.
- Monthly PDF statement is the official, formatted document N26 generates for each calendar month. Use it when a landlord, lender, accountant or government office asks for proof of income or balance. It looks tidy but it is hard to search or sort.
- CSV export is a plain spreadsheet of your raw transactions, one row per payment. It is not pretty, but it is the right format when you want to analyse your money: spot every subscription, every card fee, every recurring charge. A tool can read a CSV in seconds.
Rule of thumb: PDF to prove, CSV to understand.
This is only an estimate. Upload your statement to find your real number.
Export from the N26 app (iPhone or Android)
The mobile app is the quickest route for most people.
- Open the N26 app and unlock it.
- Tap your account or the relevant Space to open the transaction list.
- Look for the statements or downloads option. It often sits behind a menu icon, your profile, or a button at the top of the transaction screen.
- For an official document, open Statements and choose the month you need. N26 produces the monthly PDF ready to download or share.
- For analysis, choose the option to export transactions or download CSV, set your date range, and confirm.
- Save the file to your phone, or send it to yourself by email so you can open it on a laptop.
Export from the N26 web app
The web app gives you a bigger screen and is handy when you want several months at once.
- Sign in at the N26 website and confirm the login from your phone if asked.
- Open the account, then go to the statements or downloads section in the menu.
- To get the official file, pick a month and download the PDF.
- To analyse your spending, choose export or download transactions, select your date range, pick CSV, and download.
- The file lands in your browser downloads folder, ready to use.
A few N26 quirks worth knowing
N26 is built around Spaces, the sub-accounts you use to set money aside. Transactions inside a Space may export separately from your main account, so if a recurring charge seems to be missing, check whether it runs from a Space and export that too.
N26 also operates across much of the EU, so the exact wording of menus is localised and can differ by country and language. The label might read statements, downloads, documents, or the local-language equivalent. The flow is the same even when the words are not.
Exact menu names also vary by app version. If you cannot find an option, update the app or try the web app, where the layout is often clearer.
Why people export an N26 statement
- Proof of income or address for a rental, loan or visa.
- Sharing records with an accountant or for a tax return.
- Keeping a personal archive before you switch banks.
- Reviewing exactly where the money goes each month.
That last one is where most people get stuck. A year of N26 transactions is hundreds of rows, and the small recurring drains, a forgotten trial, a price that crept up, a fee you never noticed, hide easily in the noise.
The easy next step: let FLOW read the file
Once you have the export, you do not have to comb through it by hand. VESTELON FLOW reads one exported statement, PDF or CSV, and lists every subscription, fee and recurring charge in a single clear report. No bank login, no connecting your account. You simply hand over the file you already downloaded.
It is privacy-first by design, and your first report is free, so you can see exactly what is leaving your N26 account every month before you decide anything.
Common questions
Can I export more than one month at once?
Yes. The monthly PDF is per calendar month, but the CSV export lets you pick a custom date range, so you can pull several months or a full year in one file.
Do my Spaces show up in the export?
Not always in the same file. Spaces can export separately from your main account, so export each Space you use if you want a complete picture.
Which format should I give to FLOW?
Either works. CSV is cleanest for analysis, but FLOW also reads the PDF statement, so use whichever file you have to hand.
Upload one bank statement. FLOW shows exactly where your money leaks today, what it is worth once you redirect it, and the year it could set you free. Not another tracker: a plan you can act on.
