How to Cancel Paramount+ and Stop the Charge

To cancel Paramount+, sign in to the account on the platform you signed up through, open the account or subscription settings, and choose to cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. If you subscribed through Apple, Google, or a bundle like Walmart+, you cancel at that provider, not on the Paramount+ site.
What Paramount+ costs you in a year
Streaming feels small per month and large per year. As an illustration, an Essential plan with ads at around €6 a month works out to roughly €72 a year. A premium or ad-free tier nearer €13 a month is closer to €156 a year. Exact prices vary by country, plan, and whether you pay monthly or annually, so check your own statement for the real number. The point is simple: one tap to subscribe, twelve charges to forget about.
How the charge shows up on your statement
The line on your bank statement is rarely obvious. Depending on how you signed up, it can read as Paramount+, Paramount Plus, PARAMOUNT GLOBAL, or something generic. If you subscribed inside an app, it may appear as APPLE.COM/BILL or GOOGLE PAYMENT with no mention of Paramount at all. In the US it can also sit inside a Walmart+ charge, since that membership includes Paramount+ as a perk. Knowing where the charge lives tells you exactly where to cancel.
Cancel on the web account
If you pay Paramount+ directly by card:
- Go to the Paramount+ website and sign in.
- Open your account by clicking your profile name, then choose Account.
- Find the Subscription & Billing section.
- Select Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You should see a confirmation that your plan ends on a specific date. Save that email. Your shows keep playing until that date arrives, so there is no reason to cancel weeks early.
Cancel on iPhone or the Apple App Store
If your charge reads APPLE.COM/BILL, Paramount+ cannot cancel it for you. Do this on the device:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Select Paramount+ from the list.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
If you do not see it, you likely subscribed somewhere else. Check the web and Google steps instead.
Cancel on Android or Google Play
If billing runs through Google:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Paramount+.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
As with Apple, access continues until the paid period ends, and the renewal simply does not happen.
If it came through a bundle
Bundles are the trickiest case because the Paramount+ app gives you no cancel button. If you got Paramount+ through Walmart+, a mobile carrier, or another provider, you manage it inside that provider’s account, not Paramount’s. Cancelling there removes the Paramount+ access, but it may also change the wider membership, so read what you are giving up before you confirm. When in doubt, the rule holds: cancel wherever the money actually leaves your account.
The seasonal-watcher pattern
Most people do not watch Paramount+ year round. They subscribe for one new season, a big sports run, or a film everyone is talking about, then keep paying for months after they stopped opening the app. This is the most common way streaming quietly drains money. A healthier rhythm is to subscribe deliberately, watch the thing you came for, and cancel the same week. Because access lasts to the end of the period, cancelling early costs you nothing. You can always resubscribe in one tap when the next season lands.
What to do with the money
Suppose you free up €6 to €13 a month. On its own that feels too small to matter, which is exactly why subscriptions survive. But cancelled and redirected, even a single recurring charge becomes a standing order into savings, an extra payment against a card balance, or simply money that stays yours. The win is not one cancellation. It is finding every charge like this one and deciding, on purpose, which ones earn their place.
That is the part that is hard to do from memory. A statement can hold a dozen small recurring lines with confusing names, and the forgotten ones are the ones costing you most. VESTELON FLOW reads one bank statement and lists every recurring charge it finds, so you can see the full picture in one place. The first report is free and there is no bank login, you just upload the statement you already have. Paramount+ is usually one of several you had stopped thinking about.
Common questions
Will I lose access the moment I cancel Paramount+?
No. Cancelling stops the next renewal, but you keep watching until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling early does not shorten that access, so there is no benefit to waiting.
Why is there still a Paramount charge after I cancelled?
You probably cancelled in the wrong place. If you subscribed through Apple, Google, or a bundle, cancelling on the Paramount+ website does nothing. Check the source that matches your statement line and cancel there.
Can I get a refund for a charge I forgot about?
It depends on the provider and your country, and there is no guarantee. Apple and Google handle their own refund requests, while a direct Paramount+ charge follows Paramount’s policy. Ask promptly and politely, but treat any refund as a bonus rather than a plan.
Upload one bank statement. FLOW shows exactly where your money leaks today, what it is worth once you redirect it, and the year it could set you free. Not another tracker: a plan you can act on.
